In light of the observance of the fifth anniversary of 9/11, the regular BvB post will be postponed until Wednesday. Today I ask the question, 'What changes did this tragic day bring to your life?'

Now even more than before, I take things one day at a time. Cherishing my life and those that I love. For in a world where safety and security is so fleeting to not do so might mean wasting the last day.

Like you, Fuzz, I've always lived for each day and appreciated every moment because you never know when it may be your last - but this was something that I got long ago from working in the ER.

As for 9/11 - it really didn't change anything for me personally, because I refuse to let fear dictate my life. If we live in fear, the terrorists have won (not to mention our government, eg The "Patriot" Act) and I don't want to live like that - because that's not living.

No changes, but it reminded me to be thankful.

I live and work close to NYC and can see the skyline on a daily basis. I have a daily reminder when I look to the East and see missing building downtown.

I do my best no to judge people, but I am more observant to things going on around me and now seem to think more ofthen than I should, "That plane looks kinda low".

Thankfully I did not lose anyone close to me that day. I will never forget how I felt that day and the sorrow I still feel for everyone effected.

The atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a terrorist act.
The bombing of Dresden was a terrorist act. The My Lai Massacre was a terrorist act. And the establishment of a Zionist state ("Israel"), on land forcibly taken from Arabs was a terrorist act, and the continued support of the Zionist State is a terrorist act. On 9/11, the United States got what it deserved. And it will continue to get what it deserves as long as it forces the submission of countries around the world. The United States is an empire, in all but name, and all empires ultimately fall. Shortly after this country was founded, someone said this: "America is great because it is good; when it ceases to be good, it will cease to be great." The United States has ceased to be good, thus it has ceased to be great. God curse America--God curse the U.S.A.!
